Some of you saw a television camera behind Building 97 this afternoon (4/21) which caused quite a stir.
NBC 2 TV’s Sean Martinelli was interviewing our very own Vivante travel experts Eric and Myrian Steinbaugh. Many of you may know that this amazing couple took an 18-month, 48,000-mile trip through all 50 states to all 62 US national parks. Their story is truly fascinating and beautiful. Their story will air this Friday, April 24th during the 6:00 news on NBC 2 which is WBBH TV on Comcast Channel 2 and WBBHD on Channel 432. It will likely run around 6:20.
If not for this Covid-19 virus, they would be off again for a 3-month camper van trip through Europe’s National Parks. They’ve postponed that trip indefinitely and are now preparing their Land Rover Defender 4×4 for a South American overland expedition to include an attempted crossing of Paso Mayer through the no man’s land between Chile and Argentina. They have tentatively scheduled to begin that journey in September 2020.
